Ian

Ian

Ian is the Radio Development Worker. Along with being a Getting Better Together Youth Worker, his main duties include keeping the overall radio station operation running and helping volunteers and steering group members achieve their ambitions.

He loves music, is a keen singer songwriter and is a member of Scotland's Football Tartan Army.

Rebecca

Rebecca

Rebecca is Development Worker in Youth and Early Years and Radio Support at Listen Lanarkshire. Her main duties include leading GBT's Children in Need funded science project, and supporting the running and development of the radio station.

Rebecca plays electric guitar and enjoys watching F1.

Steven

Steven

After volunteering on work experience through Calderhead School, Steven is now employed by North Lanarkshire Council's Roots Training and Placement Program as an apprentice with Listen Lanarkshire.

Steven creates a podcast about reviews of video games and his personal thoughts on them, along with helping make sure the station is broadcasting music online when he is in.

Steven also works with other volunteers, helping them broadcast their shows.

Jason

AKA The Silent DJ, Jason helps behind the scenes with various aspects including updating sections of the website, helping Mags and Percy produce their show and hosting his own show on Monday afternoons from 3pm to 4pm.

Pupils from Calderhead come for work experience that includes podcast creation and hosting live radio shows.

Alan

Alan

Alan is a Listen Lanarkshire legend, having produced shows for the station since pre-covid (20??).

Alan's shows are a mixture of his favourite rock and pop music.

Alan is also a keen opera singer!

Join Alan on Mondays from 1pm until 3pm.

DJ Ginger

DJ Ginger

Josh, or DJ Ginger as he is known, has his show on Thursdays between 5.30pm and 7pm.

The show consists of the best music and top banter.

Eddie

Eddie

Eddie presents Kiss That Prog - Scotland's longest running dedicated Prog Rock show!

Thursdays from 8pm to 10pm.

Mags and Percy

Mags and Percy

Mags and Percy specialize in 80's music, but also give a unique perspective on life as a blind person and a guide dog, often offering insight and advice for others.

Join Mags on Wednesdays from 11am until 2pm, and on Friday mornings from 9am until 11pm.

David

David

David has started his show in March 2023. He is a keen listener of all genres of music.

David plays walking football and watches football and other sports, so expect varied music and chat, depending on the guest.

Join David every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and Thursdays from 2.30pm until 5.30pm.

James and John Allan

Tune in to Listen Lanarkshires Weekend Dance Anthems Show with Host brothers James & John Allan, Friday and Saturday nights 8-10pm!
