Listen Lanarkshire is a community radio station that enthusiastically welcomes all to contribute to its operation.

We offer opportunities to individuals, groups and a sense of belonging to the whole community of the local area (the Greater Fortissat area, plus Fauldhouse).

Listen Lanarkshire has been in operation in one form or another for around 10 years. In the past we have operated from The Shotts Healthy Living Centre solely as an online community radio station. In late 2023 we moved to a brand new studio at Springhill Community Hub, having gained a FM licence from Ofcom.

A new chapter began for us on 24th October 2023 when we started broadcasting on 107.7FM as well as online!

We are currently primarily funded thanks to National Lottery Young Start, and since moving to our new home we have welcomed new volunteers, hosted new youth groups and filled our timetable with more great shows!

Listen Lanarkshire is run by Getting Better Together staff and many dedicated volunteers (see 'Our People').

Roles vary from hosting a show, to helping behind the scenes, and even a bit of gardening. No previous radio experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
